New Visa Waiver Program for Southeast Asian Travelers

The Embassy is pleased to announce the introduction of a new visa waiver program for eligible travelers from Southeast Asian countries.

Starting March 2026, citizens of participating Southeast Asian nations may enter the country visa-free for tourism purposes for a stay of up to 30 days, subject to the conditions of the program.

Program Scope

• Applicable to citizens of eligible Southeast Asian countries
• Valid for tourism purposes only
• Maximum stay of up to 30 days per entry
• No visa application required prior to travel

Important Conditions

• Travelers must hold a valid passport meeting entry requirements
• Proof of onward or return travel may be required upon entry
• Employment, business activities, or long-term stays are not permitted under the visa waiver program
• Extensions of stay may not be permitted under this program
